WHILST in Durham on Saturday afternoon, I noticed a woman on a hen weekend wearing a bright pink sash with an extremely obscene slogan in big capital letters across it.
This was at 4.30pm in the afternoon, with families and small children walking past.
On Saturday and Sunday afternoons, Durham is now packed with stag and hen parties drunkenly shouting and swearing their way around the city, but the city has sunk to a new low.
How much further will it sink?
