MANY years ago the international reprography company I worked for used an advertising slogan of “Three heads are better than one”. When it came to their microfilm cameras this was true.
However, I doubt that three businesses - WH Smith’s, Post Office and Marks and Spencer’s - in one shop will be better for anyone (Echo, July 13).
With shop space being limited no one will win. Customer choice will be reduced with many of us being forced to look online.
The takings will drop and before too long the businesses will disappear from our town centre.
WH Smith’s please take note and reconsider your plans.
