CAN we look forward to the not too distant future and see how it would be to our advantage to leave the EU as soon as possible, deal or no deal.

We may think the present negotiations are almost impossible to sort out, and this is only us against them, one to one.

Now as the support for populist parties increases across Europe, we are reliably informed by leading experts that the EU will implode and be disbanded within the next 20 years.

Can you imagine the utter chaos as 27 countries vie with each other to sort out deals and contracts?

Now if we have been out for a few years, and have our glitches sorted out, what a powerful position we would be in, cherry picking the best deals on conditions that are favourable to us.

So, could we please have some forward-thinking MPs in the next cabinet.
