I AM appalled in this day and age to read this headline “
Students won’t go hungry pledge
” (Echo, Jun 24). To me this infers we are now a Third World country.
Therefore, foreign aid should now be withheld and better spent here.
Also, we should apply for some of the charity funding from Children in Need and UNICEF.
This is not to mention the food banks and the homeless.
