I AM a disabled blue badge holder and wish to make a comment on the state of the dropped curbs off the main thoroughfare in Darlington.

I use a wheeled walking aid and regularly park my car in Kendrew Street and walk through the underpass to the streets behind Boots and Queen Street.

Why are cars able to park on the footpath between the underpass and the road?

I am unable to reach the dropped kerb because of their illegal parking blocking my route.

They are there most of the day! They should pay to park like the rest of us!

The state of the dropped curbs around that area are a disgrace.

I regularly have to lift my walker up as my wheels get stuck.

After walking around town, I am in a lot of pain as a result. Where are the traffic wardens to issue parking fines to these inconsiderate motorists?
