THERE are so many runners lining up for the vacant position of Prime Minister it’s like a re-run of the Grand National. With the calibre of candidates, I say it’s more like the Donkey Derby.

This is a list jam-packed with no-hopers. A political talent contest with no talent.

Former GMTV presenter Esther McVey is one of the runners and is attempting to break the nasty party mould by promising to tackle the country’s “burning injustices” by standing up for those less fortunate.

Please remember Miss McVey showed no mercy both as minister for disabilities and as butcher’s assistant to former welfare chief and MP for Chingford Iain Duncan Smith (aka The Chingford Chiseller).

Between them they wielded more axes than a Hammer Horror film.
