READING the local election letters (Echo, May 7) many will be hoping that local politicians can get their acts together and deliver what the people want.
What is fairly obvious from the local elections, especially in the Tees Valley area, is that the vast number of voters want a move away from tribal politics and single party rule.
Unlike the Brexit debacle, one hopes local politicians will deliver what the people voted for.
