CAN I ask please – how come the leader of the Labour Party is now trying to claim credit for the Extinction Rebellion protests?

I didn’t see him sitting down in front of any traffic did I?

Labour’s record on air quality in London is not great.

It was Labour’s John Prescott as Transport Minister who slapped the same level of duty onto bio diesel as ordinary diesel and killed off bio diesel, in that one act, as an alternative fuel to ordinary diesel.

That single act did more to make air quality poor in London than any other.

I don’t recall Mr Corbyn protesting about that increase in duty on bio diesel at the time.
