DOG owners are instructed to "pick up" after our dogs. Most of us do.
The problem is that a great many of the dog/litter bins are overflowing and unemptied over weekends and bank holidays.
No allowance is made for the fact that litter and dog bags take no account of the calendar.
Time for a re-think by whoever is in charge in Darlington Town Hall.
And talking about litter, best not to go near Broken Scar or Low Coniscliffe river banks anytime soon. The litter louts have been out enjoying the sun.
Broken glass is a speciality.
