I HAVE been having trouble with my eyes, so I went to the optician and he told me I have cataracts in both eyes. He gave me a letter to give to my doctor.
I got an appointment to go to the hospital on April 2. I was there for about three hours.
I thought I was going to get some treatment but no, the doctor only told me what I already knew. He gave me a form to read then sign which I was to take to the desk on my way out.
I have now got my appointment for some treatment, and to my dismay it is for October 29.
The doctor said that the operation only takes half an hour, so they must be very busy – or are they taking the water out of me?
After all, my initial appointment was April 2, not April Fool’s Day.
I am a very disgruntled pensioner.
