Is the Emirates due to become the next state of Australia with its major benefactor Simon Henig becoming Governor?
This is a crucial season for the game of cricket but the naming of Cameron Bancroft as skipper of Durham is a massive mistake.
Give him another chance as a player, but not as captain.
The report that no one else wanted the job displays a worrying lack of ambition within the team. In my cricket experience, everyone in the team wanted to be captain.
