THE lengthy Northern Echo interview with leader Simon Henig and chief executive Terry Collins to mark the tenth anniversary of Durham County Council makes no mention of the authority’s plans to build a new headquarters on The Sands.
This seems a very strange omission given the large amount of controversy that the plans have generated.
