JOHN BERCOW is not a fit and proper person to be Speaker of the House of Commons.
It is his job to play the even-handed broker, the piggy in the middle. Ensuring the unbiased smooth running of the House, nothing less, nothing more.
Some months ago, he took sides in a high profile, voluble manner which was televised and was outrageous and should have meant instant termination of his position.
He mocks democracy and has been allowed to do so for far too long.
