WHO remembers a TV game show called Blankety Blank?

This is where six celebrities on a panel would write down what they thought should be the missing word in a piece of dialogue.

Then the contestant would attempt to give the word which was written by the highest number of celebrities, scoring one point for each match. Now if the six celebrities gave a different answer to each other in a particular round, then the contestant stood no chance of scoring more than one point in that round. It is the same with Theresa May trying to persuade enough MPs to vote for any deal that she might bring to the table.

There are currently not enough MPs who will vote for any one proposed deal, because it is mostly Conservative MPs who all want different deals.

Theresa May needs to see what she is up against no matter what she does and call a general election.

Donald Tusk was right when he said: “There is a special place in hell for those who introduced Brexit, without a sketch of a plan to deliver it safely.”

This is not a criticism of anyone who voted for Brexit, who were justified in thinking that those who brought us the option of Brexit would be ready to deliver Brexit safely. Brexit should not have been on a ballot paper until it was thought through properly.

As a cancer survivor, I need to wear special surgical stockings which have to be renewed every two months. These are made in France. If I become unable to obtain these stockings due to a hard Brexit, then I will be in serious trouble which could see me end up in a wheelchair.
