REGARDING the article ‘Too stupid to be true’ council policy carpeted (Echo, Nov 24), would it not be possible to donate carpets, to say charities, if they are in good condition?
People donate electrical goods, charities such as the British Heart Foundation inspect furniture to see if it’s worth selling. There would of course be the inconvenience of re-fitting and cost.
