AS a football supporter for many years I can understand why the likes of Sky and BT pay for the rights for league games.

It puts more money in the kitty for the clubs, which is controversial.

But a national team playing should be free for viewing on TV as we pay for a TV licence.

Charging only pushes the people who support their national teams to go to dodgy channels.

As we have got a Minister for Sport, I would like to hear from other supporters, or is it just me being a disgruntled supporter who doesn’t want to subscribe to commercial TV? International sport should be free and not for the benefit of big moguls.
