'Perhaps other (local) charities could use the Echo to let people know where monies collected are going'
IT was pleasing to read of Darlington Round Table’s donation to the Kings Church food bank (Echo, Oct 10).
Most people contribute willingly to charity but are dismayed when occasionally an official holding office in a charity uses the money for their own ends.
Perhaps other (local) charities could use the Echo to let people know where monies collected are going.
It would be to their benefit and I believe people would appreciate the information.
