MANY will think that PM Theresa May is between a rock and a hard place on Brexit.

There appears to be no compromise on leaving the EU that will be acceptable to the majority at Westminster and the UK.

Evidently Tory cabinet members are at the cliff edge ready to resign, as no matter which way May turns, getting any EU agreement through Parliament looks even more unlikely as we reach March 2019.

With her own cabinet members ready to jump ship, the DUP threatening to vote against the budget later this month and the Labour opposition hell bent on a general election, a deal looks light years away.

No deal threatens jobs, but like the unexpected referendum result in June 2016, it is a possibility that may end up suiting nobody. When the country needs unity, mutiny is a self indulgence all politicians should resist.
