SOMETIMES after a devastating event happening the end results can be extraordinary, as is the case of St Brandon’s Church at Brancepeth, Co Durham, that was destroyed by fire in 1998.
The restoration is truly stunning. From the outside it looks a traditional parish church but inside a wonderful modern church – light and airy and well worth a visit.
