I’D like to give a leaver’s response to Julia Breen (Echo, Oct 4).
Each of her statements was prefixed by “we might, expectation, concern, feared, real possibility and possibility”.
There is not one definite statement. I don’t like the expression “Project Fear” so I’ll put her column down as what it is: propaganda.
I’d now like to present a leaver’s statement.
We might end up with a Brexit deal that is beneficial to us all. Our expectations are for a free country with no input from the European courts.
We may get immigration down to a reasonable level thus cutting waiting lists for the NHS and making more housing available.
We could make trading agreements with many countries outside the EU, bringing in new jobs and increasing wages.
We could get a united government and country, with some of the remainers losing their permanent scowl.
