PRIOR to the referendum for the UK’s EU membership, I was involved with the Remain campaign. In the referendum itself, I voted Remain of course.

However when the result was that Leave had won, we were advised in a meeting that we have to accept the outcome of the democratic vote.

Whereas the outcome wasn’t the one we wanted, the task now was to shape Britain’s future outside of the EU.

For a long time I was happy to go along with that. But not anymore.

A national newspaper on Saturday, September 22 carried the headline “May’s finest hour.” Whereas that may be an accurate statement due to the lack of alternatives, who does Theresa May think she is, asking EU leaders to treat our nation with more respect?

This to me sounds like a desperate woman trying to pathetically shame the EU, who are obviously not going to change their stance.

The EU have made it quite clear that after Britain leaves the EU, Britain can only trade with the EU on inferior terms as before.

I am very concerned for what that would mean for the whole population of the UK. I have seen for myself how things are in South Africa, where people turn to robbery sometimes involving murder, in order to eat.

There is only one solution: stop Brexit now.
