Can I ask is it only on Brexit that Chris Moncrieff believes that MP’s who dare to go against the party line should be deselected? (Echo, Dec 19).
We could save money by only having one member for each party elected and then if in the Brexit scenario whatever the Prime Minister says would be law.
Other countries have this system - one that comes to mind North Korea.
I expect my Member of Parliament to vote with a conscience not act as a robot.
