ANOTHER youth club closes, this time in Consett, along with many more throughout England.
Funding has been removed due to austerity.
I can suggest a few areas where the Government could save money rather than the local youth clubs. The House of Lords has 800 peers and costs £100m a year.
Millions have been spent on the outsourcing of Work Capability Assessments, plus the billion pounds for the support of the DUP.
We are able to find money for all this lot but not when it comes to supporting our local councils so we can benefit the young and old.
We need a Government who cares for everybody. At the moment we haven’t got one.
