IT is refreshing to learn that, for the first time since who knows when, there will be a real election and choice of delegates for seats on Ferryhill Town Council. Past experience has shown the councillors have been appointed by Labour Party branches, rather than elected. It is said that a change is as good as a rest. Let's hope that it will prove to be so. Best wishes to all the candidates.
