HERE we go again. Another Red Nose Day is with us. There are tens of thousands of charities in this country. What does this say about this socalled civilisation in which we live.
With the productive capacity of capitalism, all the charities should be unnecessary. However, we live in a world where the means of life are owned by a tiny minority, and access to life is on the basis of "can't pay, then can't have". It is a "Red Face Day" for all of those who tell us how great capitalism is.
And it is a vindication for people like myself who argue for a change of society and the relationships involved, who argue for a society where the means of producing the things we need to live are owned by us all, collectively.
Be ashamed, be very ashamed.
