I HOPE those high-profile politicians who publicly declare their support for animal testing aren’t hypocritical enough to own pets of their own, in view of what is happening to puppies and kittens inside government-funded research centres across Britain.
The government spends millions on vivisection, rather than a fraction keeping a small hospital open.
