CANDIDATES hoping to win reelection to Durham County Council keep telling me what a wonderful job they have done in the past.
My memory is not so short.
Durham County Council closed Shafto House care home, in Shildon. This was long before the Tories were in power so we cannot blame them this time.
Evidently the most vulnerable people in our society are not important.
