AMYTHYST Kiah is the latest star to perform in the Courtroom Sessions at Middlesbrough Town Hall.

The Southern Gothic, alt-country blues singer-songwriter comes to the venue on Wednesday, August 28.

Co-hosted by The Jumpin’ Hot Club – seasoned experts in delivering roots, country & blues, reggae and world music – the Courtroom Sessions evenings continue the promoters’ over 30 years tradition of roots music concerts.

She describes herself as a singer-songwriter whose influences combine rhythm and blues, country and old-time covers alongside startling originals.

Supporting Kiah will be Tony Bengtasson, a North East-based Americana/folk artist whose hook-laden songs have been described as ‘remarkable to say the least’ by Maverick Magazine.

His honest heartfelt messages can be heard in all of his songs and he is definitely not one not to be missed.
