COLLEAGUES at a parcel carrier depot gathered together to donate over £150 worth of goods to a foodbank.

The staff, who work for Yodel's Stockton depot, donated the food and household goods to the Middlesbrough Foodbank, which works to combat poverty and hunger across the region, supported by The Trussell Trust.

David Timney, customer delivery depot manager at Yodel, said: “Gathering all the donations was a team effort, designed to support those in need in the wider community of Middlesbrough.

"It has been rewarding to see all the colleagues getting involved in our appeal and the response has been amazing.

"We hope that our efforts will make a difference to the local community, and we look forward to working with the foodbank again in the future.”

Samantha Stapley, Director of Operations at the Trussell Trust, said: “We’re very grateful for support for food banks like this. It will make a huge difference – thank you.”
