How would you describe your style?

I’d say I have a classic style with an edge. I have always kept my eye on trends, and love to experiment, but never follow anything specific. My style has evolved with age, but always remained my style.

Do you have a favourite outfit?

You can’t beat a good pair of jeans and comfy jumper for day to day. I’m loving the long pleated skirts at the moment and have them in a rainbow of colours for this season.

What do you usually wear to work?

Working at JulesB, I have the perfect excuse to dress up everyday in the most recent collections. At the moment, I’m wearing Victoria Beckham: her collections are so wearable and look great. For a more casual look, I’ll wear jeans. My current favourites are Citizens Of Humanity, with a piece of cashmere and Ash trainers.

What was your last purchase?

A simple plain white T-shirt. Sounds boring, I know, but they’re a wardrobe staple of mine as I will wear them day or night. I have quite a collection.

What are your favourite fashion brands at the moment?

Loving Gucci this season, and Victoria Beckham is amazing, so chic yet understated. Rixo is a great brand to look out for and is just amazing with its bold prints and vintage styling.

What is your must-have item for summer?

A great pair of sunglasses.

Where do you shop for jeans and other basics?

I love Rag and Bone as the collection is geared at great wardrobe basics. Zara is great for a more affordable option.

Do you shop online?

Online we are really spoilt for choice, but I tend to visit JulesB, The Outnet, Matches and Selfridges. Shopstyle is a treat site as it covers all store availability if you’re looking for a certain item.

Where do you turn for inspiration?

I spend a fortune on fashion magazines and like to scour them for the latest trends and to see what people are wearing.

Who do you think is the most stylish celeb?

Victoria Beckham, she is so chic and stylish, but in an effortless way. I love her collection. Her husband isn’t bad either.

Do you splash out on handbags?

I’ve got this sewn up as my husband has great taste and buys me the most amazing bags. My most recent is a Stella McCartney Falabella Tote and I got a Chanel 2.55 for Christmas.

What is the most unusual/standout piece in your wardrobe?

Nothing too wacky, but I do have lots of bright, bold and fun pieces this season like a one-shoulder MSGM bold graphic print dress that I’ve just bought for a wedding in Ibiza.

Do you have a favourite pair of shoes?

I don’t really have a favourite pair of shoes, but if I had to choose, it would be my Toga Pulla Black boots. They look great with everything.

What has been your biggest fashion faux pas?

I’ve had many especially back in the Eighties, not the most stylish of decades. It does seem to be making a comeback, so I’m bracing myself.

Do you have any beauty products you couldn’t live without?

I’m a huge believer in looking after your skin and I’m a fan of Charlotte Tilbury’s Magic Cream. It’s so lovely to use and makes your skin feel incredible. Elizabeth Arden Eight Hour Cream is always found in my bag as it makes a great lip moisturiser.

Where are your favourite places to go out?

I live within walking distance of Yarm High Street so I’m lucky to have a great choice of restaurants and bars on my doorstep. My ideal evening would be dinner at Muse or Cena followed by cocktails in Lotus Lounge – perfect. For a day out, it would be anywhere as long as it’s with my husband and ten-year-old son, which at the moment tends to include the sidelines of a football pitch.

What is your favourite holiday destination?

I love to travel and as a former air hostess, I’ve visited some amazing places. I have fond memories of Thailand and its beautiful faraway beaches, but holidays now tend to be Dubai as I love how clean and luxurious it feels. The weather helps, too, as it’s guaranteed to be hot and sunny.

What's the best piece of style advice you have been given?

Define your personal style and be confident. Fashion is what you buy and style is what you do with it...
