CARE home staff in Saltburn were “mugged” by their residents for Mental Health Awareness Week.
Residents at Hazlegrove Court Care Home presented staff with gifts to show their appreciation for all their hard work.
Mugs filled with useful items and treats were given to each staff member with a poem of thanks.
The goodies in each mug included coffee sachets, chocolate biscuits and pens.
Sharon Lewis, activities coordinator at Hazelgrove Court Care Home, collected the items and mugs before putting them together with the help of resident Dot Paling.
Sharon said: “As the theme this year is kindness, we wanted to do something with the residents that showed all the staff how much we admire all the work they are doing."
