A NORTH-EAST bridal designer has won a prestigious regional award for the third consecutive year.

Kate Fearnley, who runs an established Bridal Prom and Occasion wear business on Middlesbrough’s Linthorpe Road, was named bridal designer of the year for Yorkshire and the North-East at the Wedding Industry Awards, on Monday (November 11) at the Vermont Hotel, Newcastle.

She is now through to the national finals, held in London in January.

Kate, who established her business in 2002, is no stranger to winning awards as she has many accolades to her name including a Cosmopolitan Fashion entrepreneur award, and the current national bridal designer of the year title.

She has dressed many celebrity clients including Katie Price, Alexander Burke, Girls Aloud and Michelle Keegan.

“We really are delighted and quite overwhelmed to win this amazing award for a third time,” said Kate.

“We know we are up against the best in the region so we are so proud to win again, as this award is judged on feedback from our clients.

“It tells us that we are doing something right, and its an absolute honour to bring this award back to Teesside. I am very proud of our area, and also very proud of my team who are all crucial to growing our brand.

“The service we offer is not only unique to this area but nationally. We design dresses unique to our client, handmade to measure in our design studio. This is why we believe we are the best at what we do. We are really grateful to our loyal and supportive customers who voted for us, and now we cant wait for the National final in London “
