HOSPICE FUNDING: Two hospices based in Middlesbrough have benefitted from £5,000 donations from the Making A Difference Locally (MADL) charity, which assists independent retailers that are members of the retail group Nisa, raise money for their local communities. Zoë's’s Place Baby Hospice located on High Street, Normanby, and Teesside Hospice in Linthorpe, have each received £5,000 from the charity.
ART SHOW: An exhibition of Middlesbrough Art Society work is set to go on display in Stockton’s Café Infinity, on Moat Street, tomorrow (Friday) at 7pm. There will also be live music and poetry reading.
BEHIND THE SCENES: A behind-the-scenes tour of Teesside Archives is being held on Tuesday next week at 5.30pm at its base in Exchange Square, Middlesbrough, when staff will be on hand to talk about conservation work.
