POLICE have raided three houses in the same street as they launch a clampdown on suspected drug dealers.
Warrants were executed early this morning (Friday, March 15) at the properties in Stephen Street in Hartlepool.
The operation was launched on the back of intelligence from the local community and concerns about drug activity in the local area.
As a result of the searches, police discovered a large quantity of suspected heroin and crack cocaine and some cash.
A man and a woman, both 34, have been arrested on suspicion of supplying Class A drugs and are in police custody.
