St Mary's church, Hutton Magna is hosting an exhibition of wedding dresses next weekend (May 10th and 11th).

Spanning five decades, the bridal wear ranges from over 50 years old, to the most recent at 5 years old. Dresses have been donated by local brides and families, some of whom were married in Hutton Magna church.

The exhibition runs from 2:00pm to 4:00pm on Saturday 10th May. and continues from 1:30pm to 2:00pm on Sunday 11th May. At 2:00pm there will be a performance by Teesdale choir Corillon.

Tickets for the concert are priced at £7.00 and include afternoon tea in the village hall.

St Mary's church was rebuilt in 1868 and has a lychgate built by Thompson of Kilburn ("The Mouseman") in 1921, which also serves as the village's war memorial.

Admission to the exhibition is free, detailed programmes of the exhibits will be available at £1 each.
