PUPILS explored the future of the planet following the instalment of a multiverse arcade.

The new addition to Greenfield Community College, in Newton Aycliffe, has been commended as a learning tool by parents and teachers.

The arcade was unveiled at an interactive event where youngsters could voice their opinions on important topics that may impact the planet.

The learning initiative forms part of a wider project led by Greenfield Arts which strives to give a voice to young people and provide a forum for discussion and debate.

The young people are now working towards speaking at the school conference on what they have learned.

Katy Milne, director of Greenfield Arts said: “It has been amazing to see the young people become more confident to voice their opinion with others."
