Do you like good music? This title is one of the numbers you may hear at Dalton & Gayles village hall on Saturday 15th February when the Smokin' Spitfires appear.
Nothing to do with aerial dogfights, this 8-piece band led by vocalist Neil Hunter will be performing a Soul and Stax session. Described as "the most popular band to come out of the North East since The Animals", its members have individually and collectively played with Ray Charles, Jimmy James, David Coverdale and John Miles amongst many famous names.
The full line up comprises Neil Hunter (vocals), Terry O’Hern (trombone), Alan Thompson (tenor saxophone), Steve McGarvie (alto saxophone & vocals), Geoff Owens (keyboards), Bob Garrington (guitar), Ian Rigby (bass & vocals) and Gary Cain (drums).
Tickets at £7 from Sue on 01833 621234. Doors open at 7.00pm
