One of the items vandalised at Freemans Way, Leeming Bar
PICNIC benches and play equipment has been damanged in a spate of vandalism at a park.
Bedale Police are investigating a number of incidents in which older youths have caused damage to the park furniture and play equipment at Freemans Way, Leeming Bar.
A spokesperson said: "We are asking people to be vigilant and report any suspicious behaviour to the police.
"Parents, do you know where your young people are?"
Anyone with any information regarding the damage is asked to contact North Yorkshire Police on 101, and ask to speak with PC 1793 Sarah Norman or to send a direct message through the Bedale Police Facebook page quoting incident 12200156965.
