A FACTORY supervisor at Heck! Sausages has taken part in a new daytime television show putting three workers up against each other to find out who has the toughest job.

Mica Keeble, 24, from Kirklington, joined a Bingo caller and a gardener to try each others' jobs.

She said: "It was really good fun, but hard work!

"The Bingo calling was much tougher than it looks because people heckle you on stage. And the stately home gardening job was also very physical, and cold as we filmed the series late last year.

"When the others came to the Heck! factory for the day it was good fun, but they struggled to keep up with the packing line so at one point there were sausages all over the floor and the normal staff had to step in to save them!"

At the end of three consecutive days, the contestants had to rate how difficult they found the work, with the winner taking home a £1,000 cash prize.

Call That Hard Work? is on BBC One, 3:45pm every afternoon from Monday, August 17 to Friday, August 28.

Ms Keeble's episode will air on Monday, August 17.
