FINAL approval has been given for the new North Northallerton Link Road Bridge.
Members of Hambleton District Council’s planning committee approved the design details, including the technical elements and the overall appearance of the bridge, which is to be a three-span structure.
The bridge, over the Middlesbrough line railway, is a key element of the North Northallerton Masterplan and its construction is scheduled to start by the end of March, with completion by the end of October 2020.
Committee chair, Councillor Peter Bardon said: “The road bridge is an important feature of the North Northallerton Development site and a key element of the infrastructure necessary to deliver the ambitions set out in the North Northallerton Masterplan.”
