AN award-winning variety company is gearing up for its 2020 pantomime, which will be staged at Northallerton’s Forum later this month.

Dan Matuszak as “Dame Edna Bucket” and Stee Leahy as “Chuckles” are two of the principal characters in Northallerton Amateur Variety Company’s annual charity pantomime Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs.

It runs at The Forum from January 19 to 25.

The variety company was recently awarded two trophies for its last pantomime, Dick Whittington, at the National Operatic and Dramatic Association Northern Awards Ceremony and is hoping they will be successful again this year.

A spokesperson for the company said: “Snow White is good family entertainment and with a cast of talented adults and children, lovely costumes and scenery and upbeat music, it is definitely one not to be missed.”

Tickets range from £7.50 to £10.50 and can be obtained from The Forum, Northallerton, telephone 01609 776230 or online at www.forumnorthallerton.org.uk.

As in previous years all profits will go to local charities.
