MORE than 150 health professionals from across the region are gathering at a conference today to share best practice.
The fourth annual EPIC mental health update conference is being held by Tees, Esk and Wear Valleys NHS Foundation Trust at the Principal York Hotel.
It provides the opportunity for different services within the Trust to share what they do through a series of workshops.
They include topics such as psychosis and trauma for GPs, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and the impacts of technology and social media on mental health.
Dr Jane Leigh, of the TEWV said: “The educational space this conference provides is just a brilliant place for bringing people together outside of the stresses of work for mutual learning."
