AN award-winning wildlife photographer will be sharing his tips on how to capture the scariest animals on film on his new theatre tour.

Cameraman Doug Allen, whose credits include Blue Planet, Planet Earth, Frozen Planet and Brian Cox’s Forces of Nature, will be speaking at Northallerton's The Forum on November 4 as part of his 21-date UK tour.

With five Bafta and eight Emmy Awards to his name, Mr Allen will share behind-the-scenes stories for all the family, with highlights from the most challenging assignments of his 35 years filming wildlife in the remotest places on Earth.

He will also be tracing his personal journey as he discusses how he’s seen pollution and climate change affect the natural world.

After spending seven years in Antarctica as a Scientist, research diver and photographer for the British Antarctic Survey, the wildlife enthusiast has worked with Sir David Attenborough and Brian Cox, as well as for the BBC, Discovery and National Geographic channels filming programmes such as Human Planet, Ocean Giants, Operation Iceberg, and Wild Cameramen at Work.
