FAVOURITES from a hit TV show will be special guests at this year’s Countryside Live on the Great Yorkshire Showground.
Peter Wright and Julian Norton who star in Channel 5’s The Yorkshire Vet, will appear on the Main Stage as well as signing and selling their new books in the Tipsy Heifer Pub.
Peter will appear on Saturday October 19 with his newly released book, 'My Yorkshire Great and Small', a heart-warming love letter to the places, people and animals of Yorkshire.
Julian will be a special guest on Sunday October 20 with his books including the latest, 'On Call with a Yorkshire Vet', a diary-style book, full of short stories and anecdotes, published by Great Northern Books.
This year TV presenter Julia Bradbury will front the weekend and has co-founded with her sister, Gina, a free online resource dedicated to the outdoors called The Outdoor Guide (TOG), which will also have a presence at the show.
Stray FM’s Will Smith and Nick Hancock will present the Main Stage as well as providing entertainment in the Tipsy Heifer pub where there will be prizes to be won.
