A RICHMOND couple are celebrating the opening of their new health clinic with a launch event this month. Helen and Dean McQue are both licensed acupuncturists and practitioners in Traditional Chinese Medicine with 11 years combined experience.

The McQue Health and Acupuncture Suite will open on Saturday, September 14 offering a range of complementary health services. The couple, who have steadily built up their clientele from a shared premises in Finkle Street, specialise in women’s health and musculoskeletal pain.

Opening their own clinic has been a long held dream for Mr and Mrs McQue who both had long standing careers before turning to acupuncture.

Helen, formerly a chef, retrained as an acupuncturist after her daughters left home for university. She’s hoping the new premises will open up new opportunities. She said: “The plan is to have a base for people to come to and provide a range of complementary and healing treatments through acupuncture and the many therapies that Traditional Chinese Medicine offers.”

They also run an acupuncture clinic in the Nepalese mountains to help locals and go over every other year.

The McQue Health and Acupuncture Suite is at 20 Trinity Church Square in Richmond, the launch is from 10am to 4pm on September 14 and will be a great opportunity to find out how complementary therapies can help. For more information contact Helen@mcque.co.uk.
