FOUR village gardens and the garden of Easby Hall will be open next weekend aid of Richmond’s Old Grammar School Project.
The gardens will be open on Sunday, June 9 from 1pm until 5pm, at Easby, near Richmond.
Adult admission is £5, children under 16 go free. There will be homemade cakes and other refreshments on sale, and free parking in the field adjacent to the church. No dogs allowed.
There are three distinctly different gardens at Easby Hall: the serene Abbey garden, the south-facing walled garden and the organic vegetable garden. These are flanked by a short woodland walk, an orchard and a paddock. The four village gardens feature packed planting and winding paths.
Tickets are available from Castle Hill Bookshop, Richmond, or on the day at the entrance to the gardens.
