ENTHUSIASTS are being invited to put their best feet forward for a walking festival being held in North Yorkshire over Easter.
Boroughbridge Walkers are Welcome have organised the event which has a range of walks from a 17 mile River Round challenge on Good Friday to a three mile long Langthorpe Loop. The event runs from April 19 to 22 and encourages walkers to find out more about Boroughbridge's fascinating history which goes back 4,000 years.
On Easter Sunday people can take part in the five mile long Dog kennel Lane trek.
The festival ends with the Myton-on-Swale and Battle of Myton Walk which marks the 700th anniversary of the battle.
Information about all the walks is on the group's website at www.boroughbridgewalks.org.uk or there are leaflets at Boroughbridge Library and Fink Food.
