POPULAR FAIR: Shoppers will be able to get into retro mood when Chic Vintique returns to Richmond on Tuesday, May 7 in the town hall.

The fair will include vintage clothing, retro homeware, antiques, collectables, jewellery, unusual hand-crafted goods, gifts and a range of sweet and savoury treats.

There will also be a live magician to entertain the crowds – and after the success of the previous event in the town it is expected to prove just as popular.

Anyone interested in trading at future Chic Vintique can find out more at brevents.co.uk or by calling 07779-342782.

WILDLIFE ART: Northallerton Environment Enhancement Initiative is appealing to art-lovers and budding photographers to put their skills to the test with a competition to capture nature and wildlife in the area.

All age-groups are invited to take part, and submission can be in the form of a drawing, painting, photograph, or a mixture of media.

The competition is due to be held in November, and any local businesses or organizations wishing to sponsor the event can contact the group’s founder and project co-ordinator Doug Doherty on doug.doherty@neei.org.uk.
