A TRIO of North Yorkshire students have been shortlisted for honours in a national initiative to combat film and television piracy.

The three from Norton College, Malton, have been shortlisted in a national advertising competition open to schools all over the country.

Students were set the challenge of bringing to life the value of the UK film, TV and video industry and showing why it is important to choose official content over illegal downloads and streams.

The Norton team - Heather Robinson, Amber Barratt and Imogen Hardwick, all aged 14 – will hear if they have won on April 15.
