A CHARITY has raised a total of £115,000 from its popular Gentlemen’s Dinners since 2010 – and there are still places available for this year's event.

This life-changing figure has helped to pay for 50 full days of hospice care for the people of County Durham through St Cuthbert’s Hospice, in Durham. The hospice provides care for people with life-limiting conditions, as well as giving support to families.

This year's annual Gentlemen’s Dinner will be held at Ramside Hall Hotel from 7pm on Friday, June 2.

A hospice spokesman said: “The event once again promises to be an evening to remember, filled with a delicious three-course dinner, side-splitting comedy from Jimmy Carol, casino tables and an exclusive raffle and auction.

“Prizes include tickets to a premium F1 race day hospitality event, an overnight stay at the Crab Manor Hotel in Thirsk, in North Yorkshire, a unique racing Monopoly set signed by Felipe Massa and Lance Stroll and a case of Spey’s finest Single Malt Scotch Whisky.”

Tickets cost £50 or book a full table of 10 for £500. Contact Kay Carrick on 0191-374-6175.
